WHAT A WEEKEND!

Ladies Day Weekend was HUGE. The best week for the club this year, it contained great entertainment, good food, plenty of drinks, and some great results for the club.

The festivites began with the colts winning their third game on the trot, getting up 17-5. Now sitting just outside the top four on for and against.

Wins for 6th grade v Waverly, 5th grade 17-7 (sitting 5th), and a come from behind 3rd grade win 15-12 set up the day for a big ending. With a big crowd gathered for the day, the First grade team also got the result that their performances have been warranting. A rousing 31-19 win.

The fun continued at Churchills, with plenty of beer sculling, singing, and shouting, the Waratahs win was also popular with the crowd (except for the few Kiwis amongst us).

This weekend, the club takes on Forest, and is looking forward to some more great results and valuable CC points.

TRAINING TUESDAY AND THURSDAYS 6.15 DAVE PHILLIPS

Our club coaches Matt Bowman (NSW Waratah, Aus Barbarian, Randwick) and Grant Houldsworth (Aus Barbarian, Randwick), are building up the early season fitness and ball skills at DPO. Training is proving to be beneficial for those pushing for 1st and 2nd grade, and those who are new to our club and the game.
Leading up to the Wagga Wagga tour this weekend, and the trials against Colleagues (15 March) and Old Ignations (29 March) preseason is proving invaluable for rebuilding the skills and fitness that may've been lost over summer, and getting to know new members of the club.

All are encouraged to come along.
